Eliorah Dunavant is our Glide FFA Vice President. She has been involved in FFA for five years. For her SAE projects she has goat production and market lambs. Her favorite FFA competitions include Job Interview and Parliamentary Procedure. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, and volunteering at her church. She is currently the President of our National Honor Society. Additionally, she is the seinor class representative. Anually, she participates in Cross Country and Track. Her favorite events in Track include the 3000 and 1500 meter races. Eliorah is very kind and supportive of her fellow FFA members.
Bailey McCall is Glide FFA chapters secretary, and a sophomore at Glide High School. She is a very active FFA Member, and Participates in numerous other sports and clubs. She plays Volleyball, Softball, and Basketball. In addition to her role as an officer, she has been showing and selling Market lambs for three years. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, shopping, and being a fashion icon.

Cheyenne Beam's a Sophomore at Glide High School and our Glide FFA chapter sentinel. Her SAE's include lamb production and raising crossbred and black angus cattle. She has been involved FFA for three years and her favorite competitions are livestock judging and creed speaking. Her goal for this year is to introduce members to new areas of agriculture. In her free time her favorite activity is running and she runs cross country and track. Aside from sports she is the Colliding Rivers Livestock president and shows more animals through 4-H.
Tyler Carlock is the Reporter for the Glide FFA chapter. He is a junior at Glide that keeps himself busy with his fair pigs and fainting goats. He has shown pigs since the 5th grade. Tyler is excited to lead the Chapter through adversities and successes as the next year comes.
Paul Kercher is the Treasurer of the Glide FFA Chapter. and a senior at Glide High School. He enjoys showing steers along with playing Football and Baseball. when he is not playing sports He enjoys big game and waterfowl hunting.
Macy Mornarich is a very responsible and hardworking individual. She is currently our chapters president. In Macy's free time she is very involved in our schools equestrian team, and participates in cattle sorting events across the state. She has shown many market steers, and recently started showing market lambs. She also owns a heard of breeding cattle. Macy has been an officer all four years of high school and has been involved in NHS and student goverment. Some of her hobbies include hunting, fishing, and leather working.
Here at Glide High School we operate with two officer teams. Our senior team is advanced students in agriculture education, those who have obtained their greenhand and chapter degrees and generally are in their third year of instruction.These officers have shown excellence in their understanding of FFA knowledge and their pursuit of the highest quality SAE's and CDE's.
Our junior officer team consists of students in their first or second year of FFA. These students are learning about the national ffa and how they fit into the program as a whole. Juniors officers are in training for hopefully leading our team in the future. They are taking small steps to build a strong leadership team that can continue to guide our chapter.
Officers team are selected in two ways. our senior officers and the top three positions of our junior officer team are led through a vigorous application and interview process each spring with some alumni members. They are slated into office where the student membership votes to confirm positions. Applications are due each year by March 31st at midnight. Students must confirm at least 20 hours of community service and involvement in at least two fundraisers for the prior year (April - March) to apply. Hours must be signed off if outside of ffa.
junior Treasurer, reporter and sentinel positions are placed each september. These positions are reserved for first year FFA members. This process includes an application and interview process as well to be placed. hours and fundraising events are based off your own work in the prior year outside of ffa. Officer expectations: Officers are expected to attend a three day retreat in the summer. They also are expected to provide one meal for the entire group during this retreat. Students also are expected to attend the District leadership camp the first weekend in september. Costs are covered by chapter for officer attendance.Other financial costs come with travel expenses for state and regional career development events. Those are specific to the teams students chose to participate in.
Officers are also expected to participate in our officer meetings (the second wednesday of each month at lunch in the ag room) and the chapter meeting (The third Wednesday of every month, excluding december and march will be on the second thursday instead) at lunch or otherwise announced.
Officers are also eligible to apply for attendance to washington leadership camp. WLC is held each summer as an independent intensive conference in washington DC. Parents and students need to be aware that advisor attendance is not guaranteed. Scholarships may be awarded at state convention for attendees interested. Applications for the scholarship can be found or online by searching oregon ffa scholarships. Applications are due by January 31st of each year. Preferred attendance is given to those who have completed their sophomore or junior year.If not awarded a scholarship attendance is fully the students responsibility. please Do not assume Fundraising opportunities will be available.
